The dude here has no fucking clue that not everyone's ears self clean and cause wax buildup like me so I go get my ears cleaned by a professional ear cleaner and the corkscrew thing hasn't hurt my ears plus this dude either got his doctorate from a cracker jack box because the elbow thing I'm sorry he is fucking stupid.

Why in the world is everybody shocked to hear that sticking stuff in your ears is a recipe for disaster? It's the first thing that pops up whenever you look into qtips or cleaning your ears. Talk to a professional if you have problems. Is it annoying and can it cost money? Yes. Why would you risk major problems for a buck? No clue.

I'm lucky my best friend with cystic fibrosis is still alive but now I just watched this video so I'm really worried about him😭

I use earbuds at work (very loud noises at work) so my ears make LOTS of earwax. I normally use my finger and a damp cloth to clean what i can but a week ago I found that wasnt enough for what was going on and in desperation used a Q-tip. I instantly felt the wax slide further and block my hearing more... i placed a few drops of peroxide in both ears (was only having issues with one ear but what the heck 🤷🏾‍♀️) I then got a disposable cup and put 1 part peroxide and 1 part warm water... i used a LARGE syringe (typically used for irrigation) to flush my ears. The mess that jumped out my ear was gross, fascinating, and relieving all at the same time 😂😂 I've thrown away the cotton sticks of evil and im gonna stick to the damp cloth with periodic rinses...

I clean the outside of my ears only. I can't tolerate anything in my ear, headphones have to be over my ears it tickles to much to have ear pods in so q-tips in my ear would tickle like a mf'r 😂, i can't even handle doctors putting the ear scope or anything in my ears. How do people handle it and use q-tips in their ears, i definitely cannot handle it 😂

Okay, but they aren't self scratching, so I think I'll still use them to scratch at the outer parts of the ear. Sorry, but my problem isn't earwax. It's itching. Which everyone has experienced, healthy ears or not.
